How to clone a measure

1. Go to Measure Workshop and open the measure you would like to clone.  

2. In the upper right corner of the screen, select the “Edit measure” icon. 

3. In the upper right corner of the screen, select the “Clone measure” icon, which looks like two documents.   

4. Select “Yes” in the confirmation pop-up window. The cloned measure will open in a new browser tab with an error. 

5. To resolve the error, update the measure’s identifier in the Naming Panel. 

After updating the Naming Panel, you can take it a step further by adding Derived Fields, Restrictions or Transformations to the cloned measure. For example, you can add a restriction with the pattern “All are true” to filter down this population to patients with specific CCW chronic conditions. 

6. Save the cloned measure using the "Save measure" icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
