Overview
Proportion of Days Covered ("PDC") measures the percent of days during an medication therapy episode with a positive supply of across three major medication types which are tracked in CMS Stars ratings; Oral Antidiabetics, Oral ACEI/ARBs, and Statins. This report introduces users to the concept of PDC, provides versions of these measures that are geared towards practice operations, and contains pre-built boards that show performance across populations, payors, and action lists of patients currently failing to meet the PDC target of 80% of days within an episode.

- Develop an understanding of the configuration of a PDC measure
- Analyze historical and monitor ongoing performance across PDCs for Oral Antidiabetics, Oral ACEI/ARBs, and Statins.
- Generate lists of patients requiring intervention to meet their PDC target.
- Measure the opportunity for deploying interventions such as 90-day fills to improve adherence.
