Peer Comparison

Article summary

Peer Comparison allows users to quickly compare their performance to their peers for every pertinent measure on a report. Fine-grained slicing and filtering are not possible: That level of control is available in Measure Tracker. Users can, however, use the quick filters and the date range control to filter the charts to the quick filters that are profiled on the report.

Attribution Fields

The attribution field of comparison is determined by the user's attribution field on the report, so it might be a department-to-department comparison rather than an individual-to-individual comparison. The restriction level on the report also affects the charts shown in peer comparison. If the report is restrictive, then users will see only their own performance stacked up against the average of their peers. For any other report restriction level, users will see a bar for each peer. If the report's restriction level is blinded, peer names will be masked by a random 5-digit number.

Leaders

In Ursa Studio’s Report Manager, Admins can designate a user to be a "Leader" on a report. This allows the user to be able to see the performance of every attributee, regardless of the report’s restriction level. They are also able to choose among all the available levels of attribution fields.
