Article summary

Reference Data Review provides a mechanism to look over the data of eligible reference tables used by Ursa Studio.

When a user clicks the checkboxes of the “Select” column, these selected values are saved into a holding area in the upper-right corner of the screen. Users can then create a new value set based on these values. The value that will be incorporated in the new value set will typically be the primary value of the table, although any text field on the reference data table can be used to generate the value set.

The Reference Data Review screen has fine-grained filtering support, allowing users to select the fields and operators with which they want to search. Moreover, users can overlay the filter criteria with extra options for dealing with the currently selected records. The filter can show the filtered records, the selected records, the records that are both filtered and selected, or the records that are either filtered or selected.

Users can also jump to the Reference Data Review screen from within an existing value set to both investigate and edit the contents of the value set. Users can also drill down into data review for the table being referenced.

Configuration

Objects can be inducted into Reference Data Review via the "Reference Data Configuration" panel in Object Workshop. The “Reference Data Value Type” field establishes the mapping between the reference data table and the value type (e.g. HCPCS) used in value sets.
