What's new?
- Object Backup panel. Users can choose to have an object maintain a backup of its most-recently ELTed state. Backups can only be maintained on tables, not on views. Only one backup at a time is allowed, but users can elect to "pause" the backups by unclicking the "Store Backup on Next ELT" checkbox, which will keep the current backup active. Within the Object Backup panel users can see the name and timestamp of the current backup and can delete it. Backup tables can be browsed via the Data Review screen for each object.
- EXTRACT SLOT FROM DELIMITED FIELD pattern.
What improvements have we made to existing features?
- Users can add comments to board tiles. The comments can be displayed by clicking on the comment icon in the board tile and will remain onscreen until the comment icon is clicked again. Users with edit privileges on the board can click on the comment to edit it, without having to go into edit mode on the board, which can be useful for quickly capturing feedback during a presentation. Comment-less tiles will have their comment popovers open directly in edit mode. The visual presentation of the icon is different if a comment already exists, so that users won't have to click the comment icon to see if the tile has one.
- Pinning an analysis to a board will open the board for editing on a new tab, which will make it easier for users to add multiple elements to a board without having to find their place again.
- When pinning an analysis to a multi-tab board, users will be prompted which tab they want to add the analysis into. The analysis will be pinned to the bottom of that tab.
- The current user will be automatically added as the first user when creating a new report.
- The Published Fields panel for upstream objects in Measure Workshop and Object Workshop has been renamed to "Available Fields" to better differentiate it from the Published Fields panel at the measure or object root.
- Term definitions will be displayed for objects in data review.
- The All Measures and Table Dashboard screens in Analytics Portal will allow filtering. Only fields that are present on every measure in the report will be allowed to be filtered.
What's been fixed?
- Numerator-Denominator Relationship restrictions for multi-numerator measures are supported via additional panels on the measure root screen.
