Ursa Health MSSP Module

Overview

The foundational measures in the Ursa Health MSSP Module are implementations of CQM and eCQM measures used by Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) participating in CMS’ Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP). These measures are generated at the patient-level, incorporate claims and EMR/other sources (where available), and provide document-level details for measure numerator and denominator criteria.

In addition to the per-the-specifications measures, the MSSP Module provides measures to support programs taking action to improve quality measure performance. These include variations that enable tracking over time (e.g.versions with rolling 12-month rather than calendar year time frame), "chase lists" of target patients, and comparisons to results generated externally. Through a partnership with a CMS Quality Registry, Ursa Health is able to use the outputs from the MSSP Module for official annual submission to CMS.
