Measure Description

Among patients with two or more opioid fills and an aggregate days supply of 15 days or more in the last 12 months, the percent of patients with 4+ prescribing and filling providers in the last 6 months. Excludes patients with a CCW oncologic condition or positive indication of hospice status in the last 12 months.

Denominator Description

Patients age 18 or older with two or more opioid fills and an aggregate days supply of 15 days or more in the last 12 months. Restricted to patient-periods of active plan membership and during which they were alive. Excludes patients with a CCW oncologic condition or positive indication of hospice status in the last 12 months.

Numerator Description

Restricted to patients qualifying in the denominator, the numerator includes patients with both 4+ prescribing and filling providers in the last 6 months.
