Measure Description

Among adult chronic dialysis patients on dialysis for 90+ days, the fraction without documentation of vascular access other than catheter since the start of the episode

Denominator Description

An adult chronic dialysis patient whose current dialysis episode started more than 90 days prior to the snapshot date

Numerator Description

Patients meeting the denominator criteria that have no documentation of dialysis using a vascular access type other than catheter between the start of the current dialysis episode and the snapshot date; patients with no documentation of any vascular access type are considered to meet the numerator criteria.
