Detailed narrative of logic
- As implemented in Kidney Transplantation Surgery Encounters, first, all documents with a qualifying kidney transplantation surgery ICD-10-PCS, CPT/HCPCS, or MS-DRG code are obtained from Document Aggregator for URSA-CKD Concepts using a restriction on Is Kidney Transplant Code = 1 (see value set KIDNEY TRANSPLANTATION for value types ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, and MS-DRG).
- These qualifying documents are then filtered down to those associated with a hospital inpatient admission encounter, as defined in the URSA-CORE logic, as implemented in Hospital Inpatient Admission Encounter Document Aggregator and Hospital Inpatient Admission Encounters.
- The resulting collection of documents (i.e., documents for a performed kidney transplantation surgery associated with an inpatient admission) are then collapsed down to a hospital inpatient admission encounter grain size, with the qualifying surgery ICD-10-PCS, CPT/HCPCS, and/or MS-DRG codes published.
