Article summary

Overview

The foundational measures in the Ursa Health Quality module are implementations of the published specifications from various measure stewards. These include measures in NCQA's Certified for HEDIS® Health Plan MY 2024 program. These measures are generated at the patient-level, incorporate claims and EMR/other sources (where available), and provide document-level details for measure numerator and denominator criteria.

In addition to the per-the-specifications measures, the Quality Module provides measures to support programs taking action to improve quality measure performance. These include variations that enable tracking over time (e.g. versions with a rolling 12-month rather than calendar year time frame), "chase lists" of target patients, and comparisons to results generated externally.

Assets in this module are identified by the namespace URSA-QUALITY.

NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations and manages the evolution of HEDIS®, the most widely used performance measurement tool in health care. Find out more at www.ncqa.org.
